COMMISSIONING ARTWORK
What's in a Painting?
Artwork can take anywhere between one day and several days to complete, depending on the size and level of detail in the painting. When painting on media such as shoes, jackets, etc. it can take even longer as those surfaces are not flat and more challenging to work with. I utilize professional level acrylic paint and seal all pieces with a varnish for protection.
What kind of art are you looking for?
The first step to commissioning a piece is to select the subject matter and canvas size, and/or media. You can provide an image, reference art I have completed on my site, or we can collectively decide on a final image for your work.
Creating a composition
The next step lies with me. I will provide an ETA on when your work will be completed, and keep you updated as the piece progresses. Once complete I will send you an image of your final piece, and seal the artwork with a varnish. The varnish adds vibrance and protects the painting from dust, UV rays, and adds shine (no additional charge).
Pricing and Payment
The cost to commission an original painting varies based on size, media, and level of detail. I require a 50% installment before I start any painting and the balance upon completion. Shipping charges may apply, and all items are final sale, I do not accept returns.
